Living Our Values
Values mean nothing if they're just words on a page. Here's how we put our principles into practice:
100% Donation Commitment
The Tyte family personally funds all administrative and overhead costs. This means every dollar you donate goes directly to programs. No exceptions. This is transparency and service in action.
Humanist Decision-Making
Every program, partnership, and initiative is evaluated through a humanist lens: Does it respect human dignity? Does it use reason and evidence? Does it promote compassion? If not, we don't do it.
Technology Ethics
We build open-source tools, prioritize user privacy, and refuse to extract value from users' data. Our technology serves people, not profits.
Youth Empowerment
From our Ghana computer lab to local volunteer programs, we invest in young people not as future donors, but as partners in building a better society.
Radical Transparency
We publish our financials, share our challenges, and operate with openness. We believe trust is earned through honesty, not marketing.
Continuous Service
The Tyte family doesn't just fund the organization. They actively work in it. Second Service isn't a slogan; it's a daily commitment.
Accountability: If you ever see us failing to live up to these values, tell us. We're committed to continuous improvement and welcome constructive feedback.
